For the Bulgarian regions of Bansko, Borovets or Plovdiv, we can go to Ikea in Greece to pick up anything from the store, bring them back and install them in your apartment. We're able to travel across the border, and we speak the Bulgarian language to a reasonable degree. We're trustworthy, honest, reliable and skilled in this type of activity.

Q. How to get what you want for the right price?
We have found one way to get exactly what you want at your chosen price. It might sound mad, but why not try going to IKEA? (We are a British couple working on the job, fitting kitchens in Bulgaria and have found this system suits our clients really well.)

Q. Is there an IKEA in Bulgaria?
No there isn’t an IKEA in Bulgaria yet, but the one in Thessaloniki Greece not far away at all, about a 3 hour drive away from Bansko. We have been running quite a few clients down to IKEA , you can be there for when it opens at 10am and they have a whole day, (as it’s open till late), to pick out everything that they want.

Q. What’s the advantages?
The advantages are obvious, you can choose just what you want from a huge range of items, priced to suit all budgets. You can even plan it all at your leisure back home using their online catalogue. (Just Google IKEA Thessaloniki, and go to online catalogue, use the U.K. one to help you out if you are lost over the details)

Q.How does the quality compare with the local packages offered in Bansko?
Having worked a bit with both IKEA furniture and local Bansko kitchens, you might be surprised to know that the IKEA kitchens win hands down. They tend to be much more solid and everything fits together to look good and be practical. I guess it’s been tried and tested so is well thought out.

Q.Does it really save anything?
Well we have helped most clients to save at least 30% off their furniture package quote, . Plus they come back with far more than they would ever have had in any of the packages. (For example, one couple were quoted 7000 Euros per luxury 2 bed flat, they had 2 such flats, and saved more than 30% on each, came away with everything from placemats –wardrobes-designer lights, and that was 30% saved after paying for us. Saving over 4000 Euros and getting 2 really neat unique looking places can be a good feeling!)

Q.Is it worth it?
One big plus is that it’s going to be unique- to your own style, and thus will stand out as special. It’s not just a generic package. A very good thing, in a highly competitive rental market.

Q.Is there a language problem?
There isn’t -everything is in English as most of the staff speak English very well

Q.Any down sides?
Only down side is the special offers you might get in a U.K. shop are not the same there, so you just have to go with their catalogue price ,( in Euros of course).

Q.Do we have to come - or can you do it all for us?
You are of course most welcome to come, we will pick you up from the door of your hotel and return you there at the end of the day. Or if you prefer we can do it all for you. You can email us a list and we will shop and install everything for you so it’s all cleaned up and ready to use. This would require a detailed shopping list with a 2nd choice if certain items are not in stock.

Q. How long will it take?
We offer to pick you from your hotel in Bansko, whatever suits. Then the next day set off for a shopping spree, it‘s normally a long day but we will help you unload that night. I have to get the van back to Sofia early next morning so you have a chance to lie in if you wish, then it’s all systems go to fit everything together for you and fix all the odd things that are always left over from the builders to do. An average studio flat with a fitted kitchen , with sink plumbed in and cooker /extractor fan connected furniture, lights etc, can take us about 3 long days , but we work on a daily rate so how much we do depends upon you.

Q.Where have you worked until now, and where are you willing to work?
Anywhere in the southwest of Bulgaria, from Plovdiv , Bansko, Borovetz, Chirpan to Sofia .
